Palo Pinto General Hospital Employees Donate to the Community for Christmas

Mineral Wells, Texas— December 23, 2021 —PPGH employees pride themselves on being involved and giving back to the community. One of the ways our employees show their involvement is by contributing to the hospital’s “Christmas Fund” via payroll deduction. The money then goes to organizations like local schools and those who reside in Palo Pinto County. In the past, the schools have put the funds to good use through distributing food, clothing, school supplies, toiletries, even purchasing playground equipment. Caye Mauney, Director of Patient Access, commented, “We have a select Christmas Fund committee made of PPGH employees who identify where the funds are distributed in Palo Pinto County. I’m very honored to serve on this committee.” Ross Korkmas, CEO of the hospital, said, “I am very proud of the generosity of the PPGH employees. The entire Christmas Fund is generated by employee-only contributions and helps many different people and organizations within our community. Our employees donated close to $10,000 that went to people in need this year alone. I think this generosity shows how much our PPGH family cares about the community we serve.”
